We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the delivery of Mechanical Engineering design elements of building projects in one of our offices in Ireland. **Job Description:** We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience in the design, specification, and oversight of mechanical systems, including Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning, Chilled water systems, and Drainage. The ideal candidate will have experience in sustainable design and using software such as IES, Hevacomp, Siteworks, and Cymap. **Key Responsibilities:** • Act as Lead Mechanical Engineer as part of Multidiscipline Design Teams • Ensure project design and installation meet safety and current standards and regulations • Design input and oversee the delivery of all Mechanical aspects of projects • Prepare project reports, including Particular Specification, Form of Tender, and mechanical schedules • Communicate with internal and external parties via email and meetings **Ideal Candidate:** The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes: • Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership • Membership of an Engineering Professional Body • Experience in Client-facing roles • Experience in financial management of design budgets • Proficient in MS Office Suite • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills **About Us:** Atkins Réalis is a leading provider of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.
