Job Description
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer sought for Dublin office to manage and undertake design work and technical project co-ordination for various project types including Commercial, Mixed-Use, Residential & Healthcare developments.
Our client is a well-respected and growing Engineering Consultancy.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Team Management
- Design of sustainable, energy efficient and resilient Mechanical Services and Installations
- Compilation of Specifications for Mechanical Services and Installations
- Ensuring full co-ordination between specifications and drawings
- Estimating & cost control
- Compiling project reports
- Conceptual design studies and reports
- Liaising with architects, clients and other stakeholders to set the constraints of the mechanical design and co-ordinate with all other disciplines
- Mentoring and development of junior and intermediate engineers
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 10 years post-qualification experience in design within a consultancy environment
- Chartered or progressing to achieve chartership
- Organised and adaptable with a flexible approach to work and an ability to meet strict deadlines
- Developing knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
- Revit experience an advantage
- Experience in large scale data centre or, healthcare or, large mixed use developments an advantage
