Job Summary: We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our Estimation Department. The successful candidate will be involved in winning and tendering projects, achieving discounts with suppliers and sub-contractors, and accurately quantifying materials, plant and labour requirements for allocated projects.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Win and tender desired projects, achieving discounts with suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Access initial tenders, review tender documentation, and drive a thorough understanding of requirements.
- Accurately quantify materials, plant and labour requirements for allocated projects.
- Set up and maintain estimating processes, systems and databases.
- Prepare tender adjudication packs and risk analyses.
- Build up labour rates, prepare contractors proposals, and provide detailed tenders.
- Collate mechanical estimates and provide monthly estimating reports.
- Provide value engineered options and associated costs.
Requirements
- Third level Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail and analytical approach.
