Job Description
Senior Mechanical Estimator - High-level estimation role in a leading international mechanical and electrical provider.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our Estimation Department. As part of our company expansion project, you will be responsible for winning and tendering projects, achieving discounts with suppliers and sub-contractors, and providing accurate estimates of materials, plant, and labour requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review tender documentation and drive a thorough understanding of client requirements.
- Accurately quantify materials, plant, and labour requirements for allocated projects.
- Set up and maintain estimating systems and databases.
- Prepare tender adjudication packs and risk analyses.
- Build labour rates and prepare contractors' proposals.
- Collaborate with the electrical estimator to finalize bids.

Requirements:
- Third-level degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Minimum 5-10 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail and analytical approach.
