Job Title: Senior Mechanical Project Engineer
QDSM are recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our expanding team.
Below are the main responsibilities:

Attend the Project Handover meetings to receive a full project package handover and develop the QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety) documents.
Carrying out design review and value engineering exercise based on the project documentation and record all findings.
Assist in producing a Programme of Works for the project.
Work alongside the Procurement Manager to review the Plant Packages prior to ordering.
Assist in Co-ordinating mechanical services and builders work drawings in conjunction with the Site Manager / Project Manager.
Management and delivery of the Quality Assured Doc's.
Document Control.
This shall include but is not be limited to Drawing's, RFI's, Tech Sub Log, Schedules & QA Packs.
Assist site management with project variations where deemed necessary.
Assist in the O&M development and delivery.
Commissioning process: Assist in the commissioning programme production & revisions / organising Specialist Sub Contractor & Supplier attendance / management of Specialist Sub Contractor & Supplier commissioning / Uploading of certs to relevant File Sharing platforms and O&M.
The Engineer will follow & adhere to QDSM internal templates & procedures for all works carried out, in line with ISO standards 9001, 14001 and 45001.

Desired Criteria:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
5+ years' experience as a minimum with a Mechanical Engineering & Design background.
Proficient in CAD and BIM.
Excellent IT and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Experience of project controls and the full project lifecycle.
Be a motivated and highly dependable individual.
Experience in energy systems and energy saving analysis is advantageous.
Client facing experience is advantageous.
