We are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Test Engineer for our client, an award-winning battery technology company solving one of our most significant challenges: industrial electrification.The Senior Mechanical Test Engineer will:Manage test data generated from battery power, thermal & environmental testing.Collaborate with R&D, design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of testing processes and teams to understand product specifications.Manage core data architecture – ensure engineering and field test data is accessible and up to date.Work with telematics systems to identify machine learning/AI opportunities for future development.Develop comprehensive test plans for battery systems, considering performance, reliability, safety, and compliance requirements.The Senior Mechanical Test Engineer will have:5+ years’ experience working in a mixed background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering/Physics, and Computer Data Science or related field.Proficient with database design/management tools.Familiar & comfortable with applied maths, statistics, probability & machine learning techniques.Proven experience in battery technology testing, with a focus on lithium-ion batteries and energy storage systems would be advantageous.Proficient with data science programming e.g. Python/R.Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.If this sounds like a great opportunity for you, simply apply online by submitting a copy of your up-to-date CV, and a member of the EVera team will be in touch shortly. #J-18808-Ljbffr
