Louth organisation who are making waves in the automation market. Due to growth they are seeking a new Mechatronic Engineer to join their Design team where you will develop innovative robotic and automation solutions for their clients who span multiple industries, such as manufacturing, utilities, life sciences and environmental data delivery collection. You will work with highly experienced engineers and professionals across their internal Automation, Electrical and Mechanical Design, Robotic and Software departments to offer a complete solutions service from Factory floor to Cloud. To be successful you should have solid previous experience within a similar Engineering Design role with responsibility for leading / coaching teams, delegating tasks, design sign-off, installation and commissioning and have the desire to work and grow with a company with the vision of developing the automated machinery, control panels and solutions of the future. Requirements: Hold a Degree in Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering level8+or similar disciplineto level. Previous experience in the field of Mechanical Design/Engineeringwith responsibility for design Sign-Off, Installation and Commissioning. Experience in the use of Solidworks is required,Autodesk Inventor or equivalent packageconsidered. Project Management and/or experience in the development of automated equipment is an advantage. Full Drivers License is required. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Have responsibility for design and development of automated equipment to meet customer requirements, owning design elements from concept to project delivery. 3D and 2D design and detailing (using Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks and Emulate 3D) Lead teams, coach junior engineers and work collaboratively. Component selection and specification, engineering calculations, design analysis and optimization and Project Documentation. Risk assessments and FMEAs. 3D Design of Mechatronic equipment including Mechanism; transfer systems, servo systems, robotics, pneumatics, electrical equipment and machine guarding. Ensure project requirements are agreed, reviewed and understood with the customer and internal team. Contribute to the delivery of projects, to the required scope, budget, schedule, and quality, reporting back on project progress and performance; from concept/proposal, through execution, delivery, and review. You must be a self starter with a good attention to detail, willing to take ownership and responsibility to realise project milestones.
