Company description EBS William St., Limerick Job description EBS William St., Limerick are currently recruiting for the role of Senior Mortgage Advisor / Business Development Manager, working with clients to finance the purchase of properties and switching of existing mortgages. Working alongside a team of advisors and in a fast-paced environment the successful candidate will be a strong people person, team player and be able to manage a portfolio of clients. You will need to show us that you have: Experience and knowledge in the Irish Mortgage market and an understanding of mortgage regulatory environment A minimum of 4 years proven experience in self-generating mortgage leads Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and business partners Excellent presentation skills - both in the preparation and delivery to mortgage credit underwriting Minimum Competency Code (MCC) applies to this role. QFA is the preferred qualification; however, applications from individuals who hold APA Loans, Regulations and Investments will be accepted on the understanding that, if successful at interview, they will commit to attaining QFA within 12 months of being appointed to the role. We're looking for someone: To achieve mortgage business objectives set out for the year Develop & increase the mortgage business for your area to exceed targets & grow market share for EBS. Formulate a strategic self-generated external business development plan for mortgage activity Fulfil mortgages ranging from first-time buyer and switcher mortgages to high value and complex mortgages. Grow and maintain internal and external relationships and networks of contacts which result in the generation of business leads. Prospect through network events, online, email, and face-to-face meetings Plan approaches and pitches to new clients and companies Work closely with the branch manager to identify business & market trends with a view to developing new relationships for growing the mortgage business Create strong relationships with key client partner stakeholders at all levels Identify and develop the company’s unique selling points Be an excellent communicator comfortable in presenting both internally & externally Be a strategic thinker who takes a holistic view of the marketing and sales mix to drive opportunities Be someone who works well under pressure and enjoys working to tight deadlines Have proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Have a keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems Be an entrepreneurial spirit and are not afraid to take on new challenges with a positive attitude Perform duties in a compliant manner in accordance with policies and procedures Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: €60,000.00-€80,000.00 per year Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: Hybrid remote in Limerick, CO.
