We have 8 branches nationwide, serving the needs of both public and private sector customers. GPT is part of The Briggs Equipment Group, a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. Due to growth within our Dublindepot, we currently have a new opportunity for a Senior Motor Mechanicto join our team. In this role you will be: Carrying out services, inspections, maintenance, and repair work on vehicles at our location or on customer sites. Working closely with Service Manager and all departments to maintain an efficient process. Meeting with customers to identity issues and provide excellent customer service. Examining vehicles and performing vehicle health checks determining any additional work is required. Diagnosing specific fault issues and actioning appropriately. Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas. Adhering to all health and safety guidelines. What will help you to excel in this role: Fully qualified mechanic Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals The ability to work independently and under pressure.
