The focus of this role will be to successfully manage customer relationships to ensure the effective operation of the business, maximizing sales and profitability.
This exciting role requires drive, ambition, and enthusiasm, combined with a high level of technical skills such as selling, negotiation, forecasting, and commercial awareness, as well as the ability to drive high levels of customer relationships.
Key Accountabilities:
Management of price promotions and new product launches in line with agreed plans.
Delivery of sales forecasts on time and accurately.
Work with supply chain and factory teams regarding forecast planning.
Collaborate with commercial finance and trade marketing to develop promotional plans suitable for each customer while seeking to maximize profitability for the business.
Learn from previous executions and adapt and optimize future plans based on these learnings.Maintain already well-established relationships within the account.
Develop and execute Joint Business Plans with Key Customers.
Skills and Experience Required:
Sales experience ideally in multiple retail FMCG customer management.
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to articulate product features and benefits.
Timely and accurate reporting, showing initiative and the ability to identify selling opportunities.
Strong communication, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
Analytical, numeracy, and excellent time management abilities.
Organized and professional at all times.
Enthusiastic and confident individual with a high level of IT proficiency.
A confident self-starter who can work on their own initiative.
An excellent team player, with a passion for customer care.
Full Clean Driving License.
A background of working within chilled food categories is desirable.
Degree in a business-related area (relevant experience may qualify).
