Senior .NET Developer (C#/JavaScript) Location: Galway, IrelandContract Type: Fixed Term (12 months – Renewable)Contract Start Date: 16th December 2024Work Arrangement: Onsite Only We are seeking a skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This role requires a strong technical background in .NET development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. Mandatory Requirements:To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development at a senior level. Qualification: A relevant IT qualification in Computer Science or a related field, equivalent to Irish National Framework of Qualifications level 6 or higher. Driving Licence: A valid full driving licence. English Proficiency: Certification under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) at C2 Mastery or equivalent. Key Responsibilities:As a Senior .NET Developer, your key deliverables will include: Designing and developing software systems based on MVC.NET and SQL Server. Participating in daily scrum meetings. Defining user requirements and communicating effectively with internal clients. Designing and developing new software functionalities. Maintaining software using the .NET framework, including MVC.NET, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, AngularJS, LINQ, jQuery, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps. Integrating code testing and continuous delivery into the development process. Providing input to project plans and status reports. Key Experience / Competencies / Skillsets:Candidates should have experience in the following areas: .NET Software Development: At least 4 years of experience developing software applications using Microsoft .NET Core, C#, and MVC.NET, along with SQL Server database development (stored procedures, triggers) in an Agile development environment. Software Development Process: A minimum of 4 years of experience working with structured software development processes, including code testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit.net) and continuous delivery tools/source code management (e.g., Azure DevOps, TFS, or GitHub). Requirements Analysis and Software Design: Experience in developing user requirements for new software functionality through user stories and translating those requirements into software designs. Familiarity with delivering software for ISO or similar quality-accredited environments is a plus.
