Senior Occupational Therapist Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at St. James's Hospital, Ireland's largest acute academic teaching hospital. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the occupational therapy team in delivering high-quality care to older adults
- Contribute to the development of our service area, including developing and implementing new programs and services
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our hospital's strategic plan
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in an acute care setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
