Are you a passionate and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding role? Our client, a leading service provider in Intellectual Disabilities is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities, supporting their independence and enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities: Lead and deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy (OT) services to individuals with intellectual disabilities across various settings, including residential, day services, and community-based programs. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client. Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior occupational therapists, ensuring the highest standards of care. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and nursing staff, to ensure a holistic approach to care. Support and advise families, caregivers, and staff on interventions that promote the well-being and development of individuals in the ID setting. Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development programs within the organisation. Requirements: Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with CORU. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within an MDT. Knowledge of current best practices and approaches in the field of intellectual disability care.
