Actavo Senior Operations Director - Network & In-Home Operations Dublin Permanent PART 1: Role Details Role Title: Senior Operations Director - Networks & In-Home Department: Network & In-Home Reports To: Head of Network & In-Home Location: Dublin 12 PART 2: Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to oversee day-to-day operations, managing staff and resources, setting goals and budgets, evaluating performance, driving growth and profitability, and ensuring the overall success of the organisation. Lead a data-driven approach to key decisions. Participate in Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews with clients along with senior management in each Division. Lead and support the development and management of constructive relationships with key clients. Lead and embed a culture of ownership, initiative, and accountability throughout business operations. Ensure a right first time culture, with a high emphasis on customer experience. Ensure budgetary plans aligned to the plan and achieved on a monthly basis. Provide/optimize capacity plans to ensure client requirements are achieved. Work with other senior staff on strategic planning, ensuring that staff are all aware of operational best practices and implementing new technologies. Compliance / Governance Establish compliance standards and design improvements to internal control structure. Continuously review operations to ensure that the correct processes are being followed in a consistent and repeatable manner. Ensure that best practices are identified, shared, and operationalised. On an ongoing basis, identify areas which require corrective action and ensure it is taken promptly. Ensure that the required standards are being maintained in terms of operations, quality and safety. Project Management Manage new business introductions, product deployments etc., as formal projects, utilising project management skills to control project outcomes. Leverage internal expertise to create project tool kits to facilitate the creation of project plans, critical path task management and the assignment and optimisation of resources. PART 4: Person Specification Experience and Qualifications: 5+ years experience as an Operations Director or similar role. Experience in the telecom sector would be an advantage but is not a requirement. Previous P&L responsibility. Experience working with C-Level executives. Successful track record delivering to contractual KPIs. Experience in managing suppliers (software, materials etc.).
