Principal Connections - executive search has been retained to recruit for the key post of Senior Operations Manager on behalf of our client a prominent Food Manufacturing organisation with offices in Dublin. THE POSITION The Senior Operations Manager will be a key member of the Senior Management Team and will lead the day-to-day operations of the food manufacturing facility, overseeing production, quality control, supply chain, and workforce management. The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance are met. The Senior Operations Manager is both a strategic and operational role, leading and developing the site management team to deliver the site business plan and budgets. The holder of this unique post will lead and manage relationships with Sales, Technical, Quality, Engineering, Human Resources, Finance and Information Technology to contribute to the highest standards of excellence across all aspects of the site. This role is critical to the success of operations as the company continues to scale production and meet increasing customer demand. REQUIREMENTS Third-level qualified, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of operating in a similar position at a sufficiently senior level. They will ideally have experience in the Food Manufacturing sector. Alternatively, individuals coming from another manufacturing discipline may have the skillset we require. Candidates will be commercially astute and possess the presence and gravitas to reflect the values of the organisation, demonstrate team leadership ability and strategic vision as well as the capacity to intuitively engage and influence at all levels.
