Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Operations Manager (Workcell Manager) to join our team in Dublin and drive our Manufacturing & Decommissioning Operations to new heights. JOB SUMMARY The Senior Operations Manager (Workcell Manager) is responsible for multiple Operational Workcells interfacing directly with all Functional & Manufacturing Departments. This includes ensuring all daily internal and customer KPI’s are delivered and driving continuous improvement programs within the campus workcells. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Workcell Management responsibilities: Know and understand the campus strategic direction. Define, develop, and implement a Manufacturing strategy, which contributes to the campus strategic direction. Drive best practices within all workcells to drive campus-wide improvements. Identify creative ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems. Utilize tools to monitor departmental costs and cost trends, driving continuous improvement projects across all workcells. Build and maintain positive relationships with the customer. Drive and execute financials to yearly targets. Leadership and management responsibilities: Coach and mentor all Workcell Leaders to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer. Manage the hiring activities as per workcell business forecast outlook. Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis and perform team member evaluations. Create and manage succession plans for all Workcell Leaders and SMEs within the workcells. Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results. Drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational goals. Technical management responsibilities: Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority. Ensure 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Health and Safety, Quality). Take ownership of the relevant manufacturing tools and processes applicable for the workcell. Generate and analyze production reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge requirements: Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in production planning and resource management. Knowledge of quality control principles and practices. Ability to communicate to higher management all key business and operations topics. Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity. Ability to interpret and prepare financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Education & experience requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, related Engineering discipline, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of eight years related experience and/or training. Minimum five years’ experience in a manufacturing management role; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum three years of senior operations management experience. Management of complex multi-customer operation or large mono-customer operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
