Senior Oracle DBA (Database Administrator) Location: County Meath Salary: € Hybrid We are working with a fast-growing telecoms company who are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join their IT team. As a DBA, you'll be the architect behind their data, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance. From designing robust database systems to fine-tuning queries, your expertise will drive their data-driven strategies. The role will also involve managing database security, controlling user access, implementing encryption techniques, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA managing large-scale databases in a production environment. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Proficiency in Oracle Database versions (12c, 19c). Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Dataguard, and RMAN. Expertise in PL/SQL, SQL tuning, and troubleshooting complex queries. Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Oracle Cloud, etc.) is a plus. Proficient in Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting. Strong understanding of database security, including encryption and access controls.
