Job Title: Senior Orthoptist
About the Role:
TTM Healthcare Solutions have partnered with a leading organisation to hire a Senior Orthoptist for agency work in Mullingar, Westmeath.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed orthoptic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with binocular vision anomalies, strabismus, amblyopia, and other eye movement disorders.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
• Provide expert advice and training to junior orthoptists, optometrists, and other healthcare staff.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques to assess and monitor patient conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Participate in clinical audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of orthoptic services.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Orthoptics or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an Orthoptist.
• Resident in Ireland with the legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
• All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
• Candidates who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months over the age of 16 will be required to produce International Police Clearance.
