STEM Recruitment Partners are working with a biologics company based in Dublin West that is seeking an experiencedPackaging Automation Engineerto join their operations.You will be working with Siemens PLC & SCADA, Seavision Vision Systems & Marchesini Packaging Machines. Long-term contract available (12 month+) €50-60/hour DOE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborating as a team member to design, deploy, and sustain packaging automation systems. Creating, evaluating, and endorsing updated software standards. Offering automation proficiency to the engineering and operations sectors for informed design and continuous operational decisions. Establishing effective communication with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless support for packaging operations. Formulating and implementing standard operating procedures to ensure ongoing compliance of all automation systems. Guaranteeing the compliance and qualification of all new software upon delivery and during maintenance. Assisting validation endeavours as a support function. Participating in interdisciplinary groups to enhance process and equipment optimization. Training personnel on specific automation aspects of equipment. Devising and executing solutions across automation platforms in alignment with the site's change control procedures. JOB REQUIREMENTS At least 4years in the automation field, providing support within GMP environments and applications. Direct exposure and extensive familiarity with packaging automation and vision systems platforms. Direct involvement in supporting manufacturing facilities. Proficiency in managing change controls and conducting investigations into deviations and events. A complete understanding of the implementation and validation life cycle of automation systems, coupled with an awareness of the impact of changes on product quality. Strong interpersonal skills, along with effective verbal and written communication abilities. Skills: Automation Engineering Packaging Engineer Vision systems
