**Senior Physiotherapist Required for Children's Disability Service** A senior physiotherapist is required to provide high-quality patient-centred services to children with complex needs in West Cork. **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior physiotherapist to join our team in Dunmanway. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing treatment/intervention programmes for a paediatric caseload within the West Cork Children's Disability Network Team. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assess, plan, implement, and review treatment/intervention programmes for a paediatric caseload * Collaborate with service users, family, carers, multi-disciplinary team, network physiotherapists, management team, and other staff as appropriate * Maintain clinical records in accordance with local and professional guidelines * Communicate verbally and/or in writing results of assessments, treatment/intervention programmes, and recommendations to the team and relevant others * Attend clinics, initial team assessments, team meetings, case conferences, etc. as required * Support families and appropriate care staff in varying settings in providing a physiotherapy service * Be designated Key Contact for certain children within the team and manage their needs following the principles of PDS * Arrange and carry out duties in a timely manner within settings appropriate to service users' needs and in line with local policy/guidelines * Maintain professional standards in relation to confidentiality, ethics, and legislation * Record and collate statistics to reflect work undertaken and provide data as required by the Network Manager or Designated person **Requirements:** * Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons.) or BSc Physiotherapy (Hons) degree or equivalent * Member of CORU * At least three years post-qualification experience, some of which desirably in the provision of care to a paediatric caseload * Previous experience of supporting children with an Intellectual Disability/Autism/Acquired Disability * Experience of managing a complex paediatric caseload with physical and/or intellectual disabilities * Experience with a postural management service * Experience of incorporating evidence-based practice into clinical work * Experience of using software to document clinical notes **Desirable Qualifications:** * Postural Management Training * Training in managing a paediatric caseload with intellectual and/or physical disabilities **Company Information:** CoAction West Cork CLG is an equal opportunity employer.
