**Senior Physiotherapist Job Description** A senior physiotherapist is required to lead the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy service at Blackrock Clinic, a leading private hospital and clinic in Ireland. **Job Summary** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior physiotherapist to join our team at Blackrock Clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy service, conducting a clinical caseload, delivering educational talks, and participating in service development. **Key Responsibilities** * **Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation** + Demonstrate high-level clinical expertise in pelvic health + Assess and manage patients with continence and pelvic-related conditions + Set clinical standards using evidence-based practice + Provide advice and support to colleagues on clinical practice issues + Ensure accurate documentation and effective communication with team members * **Communication Skills** + Report relevant information verbally and in writing + Respond to patient and family requests and questions + Communicate effectively with colleagues and other healthcare team members + Recognize self-limitations and seek assistance * **Education** + Act as a mentor for physiotherapy colleagues + Provide educational resources on a regional and national basis + Demonstrate leadership and advice on research methodology + Keep abreast of new developments in physiotherapy and identify opportunities to improve the service * **Health and Safety** + Comply with health and safety policies and procedures + Implement agreed policies, procedures, and safe professional practice + Work in a safe manner with due care and attention to the safety of self and others * **Administration** + Participate in the improvement and development of physiotherapy services + Gather and analyze statistics and participate in audits + Carry out other duties as required by the physiotherapy manager * **Professional Expectations** + Function within the limits of Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and hospital policies + Support the mission statement of Blackrock Clinic + Demonstrate flexibility and assist in other areas of the hospital as required **Why Work at Blackrock Clinic?** We offer a competitive salary, onsite parking, pension, annual bonus, discounted café, sports and social club, employee assistance programme, and discounted onsite pharmacy.
