Job Description

Senior Physiotherapist required for contract basis, working with adults and children with disabilities, providing physiotherapy services and support.

The Physiotherapist will work with 6 adults in residential care and provide support to children availing of respite services, focusing on postural management, handling and positioning guidance, and risk assessments.

The role involves collaboration with the Physiotherapist in the Hospice and requires a BSc (hons) degree in Physiotherapy, registration with the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU, and 3 years of relevant experience working with adults with intellectual and physical disabilities or in paediatrics and paediatric disability services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing physiotherapy services to adults and children with disabilities
  • Developing and implementing individualised care plans
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conducting risk assessments and providing guidance on postural management and handling
