Job Description
Senior Piping Designers are sought to join a team of 80+ professionals in Dublin, working on complex projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors.
PM Group is a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm with a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US.
Responsibilities
- Act as Lead Designer on small projects or as a Senior Designer on large projects
- Develop technical descriptions, drawings, complex piping plans and layouts, piping isometrics sketches and electronic models for equipment
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams on globally executed projects
- Work with project team members, client teams, and other external parties to ensure coordination is aligned
Qualifications
- 10+ years of piping design experience for chemical, bio-pharma or similar industrial projects
- Working knowledge of Cadworx suite or 3D modelling experience with PDS, PDMS, SmartPlant3D or Plant3D
- Experience gained on international projects
- Computer literate with good experience of MS Word and Excel
- Preferred Certificate (Level 6) or Diploma/ Ordinary Degree (Level 7) in Engineering or Science related discipline
