Senior Piping Designer - Dublin
We are seeking a Senior Piping Designer to join our team in Dublin, with a strong background in industrial piping design and experience in leading projects.
- Act as Lead Designer on small projects or as a Senior Designer on large projects.
- Develop technical descriptions, drawings, complex piping plans and layouts, piping isometrics sketches and electronic models for equipment in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications and procedures.
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams on globally executed projects.
- Work with project team members, client teams, and other external parties to ensure coordination is aligned.
- 10+ years of piping design experience for chemical, bio-pharma or similar industrial projects.
- Working knowledge of Cadworx suite is an asset, but candidates with 3D modelling experience with PDS, PDMS, Smart Plant3D or Plant3D or other 3D software are welcome.
- Experience gained on international projects is highly desirable.
- Computer literate with good experience of MS Word and Excel.
- Possess a Certificate (Level 6) or Diploma/Ordinary Degree (Level 7) in Engineering or Science-related discipline.
