Senior Planner sought to provide professional and technical assistance on diverse town planning projects, meeting with clients to ensure successful project delivery.

As a Senior Planner, you'll work under the direction of a Director of Planning, providing technical assistance on a range of projects and liaising with clients to ensure successful project delivery. You'll have opportunities to work on prestigious and large-scale infrastructure projects, and will be expected to:
- Support Planning Directors and junior colleagues on projects, using initiative and expertise
- Collate, analyse and interpret socio-economic, demographic, policy, and related material
- Write reports summarising analysis, findings, and providing clear, reasoned advice
- Solve problems and develop innovative solutions
- Attend meetings with clients, planning authorities, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance procedures
- Coordinate and manage projects, including planning applications, appeals, policy reviews, and environmental assessments
- Lead knowledge sharing events and team building activities
We're looking for a qualified Senior Planner with:
- BSc or MSc in Regional / Urban / City / Town and Country Planning
- Professionally qualified or chartered (Member of IPI and/or RTPI)
- Extensive professional experience in town planning
- Excellent working knowledge of planning legislation and policy matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
