**Senior Planner: Urban Planning and Development** **Job Summary:** Experienced consultant sought to lead project origination and delivery across a diverse project portfolio, with a proven track record in planning and development industry. **Location:** Dublin, as part of our hybrid working model. **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced consultant with at least 10 years of proven expertise in the sector to build on our profile and lead project origination and delivery across a diverse project portfolio. The role requires the positive contribution to project development and delivery in accordance with the wider work programme and project priorities of the team. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead a range of strategic planning and development projects across different scales (local, regional, national) including large scale planning consenting projects (residential, commercial, renewable, infrastructure etc) * Provide strategic planning advice to clients and other relevant stakeholders * Manage relations with our existing client base in a proactive and positive manner and contribute towards the development of new business opportunities by seeking out new clients * Plan and manage own work, showing commitment to continuous professional development * Supervise and provide guidance to junior members of staff, as necessary, by monitoring and reviewing their contribution to priority projects * Prepare and present complex information in both formal and informal settings * Identify and document client requirements * Experience of communication (consultations, workshops, presentations and networking) * Collaborate with Partners and their Business Units across the Firm, and with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality projects * Contribution to the creation of new opportunities and new ideas – developing best practice * Contribution to the development of business strategy and implementation, defining supporting project procedures and protocol * Building and sharing knowledge across the company **Your Team:** In November 2020, our planning, economics and research consultancy, Future Analytics Consulting Ltd., was acquired by KPMG.
