Job Description The Role: The Senior PMO Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the wider Elgin group's processes and procedures. This position is responsible for implementing processes that ensure consistency across the business, enhancing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement. You will drive, lead and develop the PMO function and co-ordinate with the wider Elgin group to support the development and delivery of Elgin's project pipeline and core services to the market. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, empowered, dynamic environment and to support and influence the development and growth of the wider project delivery team. To be successful in the role, you will have knowledge of renewable energy projects, programmes and processes and be able to communicate effectively across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. What you will do: Develop and implement PMO processes, standards, and methodologies to ensure consistency and best practices across all projects. Develop and implement procedures and processes for both project management and project control across the business. Support project managers and teams in adhering to established processes and procedures. Facilitate project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address project risks and issues. Lead and mentor a team of PMO professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Ensure alignment of projects with the strategic goals and objectives of Elgin Energy. Drive the adoption of project management tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure that project programs/schedules, interfaces, changes, documentation management, and project risks are maintained and managed carefully. Communicate and report progress, performance and forecast, proactively solving problems as they arise and identifying preventative measures to avoid risks to the project schedule and budget. Facilitate scenario analysis and support strategic and operational decision-making. Drive and optimize consistent risk and interface management/administration. Facilitate benchmarking and optimization of project and group processes and activities. Ensure lessons learned are captured and shared. Oversee implementation and management of document control. Your profile What you will need: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. At least 7 years of relevant experience in a PMO role, preferably within the renewable energy sector. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills. Passionate and committed to the vision and mission of our company and the renewable energy sector.
