Job Description
Technological University Dublin seeks a Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher with expertise in Physical or Life Sciences, Raman and Infrared spectroscopy, and multivariate statistical analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong research profile, publication record, and experience in attracting research funding. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information effectively. The role involves working collaboratively as part of a team and handling patient samples. The successful candidate will be appointed at point (01) of the Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher Salary Scale, €52,193 gross per annum. Interviews will take place in week beginning 25th Nov 2024. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the appropriate mix of knowledge, experience, skills, talent and abilities required for the role. The following are the essential criteria:
* PhD or equivalent in Physical or Life Sciences
* Evidence of a research profile and publication record within the subject area
* Knowledge and experience of Raman and Infrared spectroscopic techniques
* Knowledge and experience of multivariate statistical analysis techniques
* Successfully completed at least one Post-doctoral Fellowship or equivalent in the public or private Sector
* A track record of attracting research funding
* Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information effectively to a range of audiences
