Closing Date:28th August 2024 Position Summary: Ringaskiddy API site in Cork plays a critically strategic role within Pfizer, it is the global site for new small molecule API products through scale up and launch, as well as manufacture of large volume patented and off-patent medicines. Colleagues on the site use state of the art equipment and leading-edge technology, as well as work collaboratively with Research and Development to provide the highest quality innovative products to the market. The roles will be responsible for delivering excellence in all aspects of API manufacture at Ringaskiddy across the API lifecycle in line with continuously demonstrating the Pfizer core values along with the site's fundamentals and SQE principles. Excellence in the delivery of safe, quality compliant and efficient campaigns and changeovers of equipment trains from product to product plays a key role in the competitiveness of the Ringaskiddy site within the Pfizer API Network. As a Senior Process Engineer your role will be to: Work at the core of our site as part of a cross functional Process-Centric Team to own the day-to-day manufacturing responsibilities, delivering important therapeutic products in line with customer and patient demands. Demonstrate and implement continuous improvements to deliver optimum and robust chemistry and efficient use of plant equipment under our banner of excellence in Safety, Quality, Cost and Supply. Leverage process and technical knowledge gained on lab-to-plant scale to investigate potential challenges and implement innovative and lasting solutions. Project manage the work in an efficient & structured manner, while easily and effectively communicating with peers and stakeholders. Co-ordinate and Lead Changeover Activities in a multi-product manufacturing facility. Taking ownership of the changeover to performance to ensure high standards on safety and quality. Effectively use the site business processes to support and to monitor the Process & Changeover performance e.g., Change control, Safety and Quality Investigation systems, 6 Sigma RFT and Lean Tools, Visual management at Area Information Centres, SWP generation and tracking etc. Create Automated Recipes across Process & Changeover to support RFT Execution. Qualifications: Must Have Bachelor's Degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline. Minimum 4 plus years of experience in operational plant experience or relevant pharmaceutical(API) experience. Excellent technical and operational plant experience Strong communication, influencing, organisational and planning skills. Proven ability to deliver manufacturing excellence standards consistently themselves and in teams. Proven to deliver on continuous improvement.
