Senior Process Engineer
Atkins Realis is a leading provider of engineering professional consulting and support services with a global presence.
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our Infrastructure Division, with a focus on water and wastewater projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects for Irish Water and other clients
- Leadership of technical review workshops with clients, with project management experience an advantage
- Development and implementation of new and emerging technologies and techniques
- Low carbon footprint designs to improve system sustainability
- DSEAR, HAZOP lead, functional safety, and digital twins
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified with a chemical/process engineering background and Chartered membership of a recognised professional institution
- Typically 7+ years' experience in the water and/or wastewater engineering sector
- Blend of leadership and technical expertise with hands-on understanding of water and wastewater treatment technologies
- Proven ability to manage and mentor teams and/or individuals and/or projects
- Developing external profile and reputation, with a desire to raise the profile of oneself and the Company
- Willingness to contribute to and develop our technical knowledge networks
