**Senior Process Engineer Role** Seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to lead a team in new product development, process design, and technology advancement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Our client, a multinational company, is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join their team in Galway on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for: * Leading a team of engineers in process design, characterization, technology development, automation, vendor and supplier management, and project management * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new product development requirements * Leading process development, characterization, and validation activities to support new product introduction * Utilizing design of experiments and engineering studies to develop robust process windows and root cause issues * Innovating and developing best-in-class process technology, emphasizing quality, reducing variation, and developing state-of-the-art automated and semi-automated systems * Identifying and mitigating technology and process risks through the design process * Collaborating with team members on Design, Reliability & Manufacturability methodology (DRM) and utilizing 3-D drawing/printing and Augmented Reality to develop innovative solutions * Identifying and carrying out practical actions to solve technical problems using project management, six sigma tools, process characterization, and technology development skills * Collaborating, documenting, and presenting learnings to project and functional teams **Requirements** * Third Level 8 Degree or higher in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, Science, or related discipline * Experience working on the design and development of electro-mechanical devices * Ability to collaborate effectively within a talented team and work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams * Excellent understanding of product and process design
