We are currently expanding our capacity within our Process Safety team, in the area of Pressure Relief Device (PRD) sizing; as a result we need highly experienced Process Safety Engineers with this skill set. Flexible working will be available dependent on experience. Responsibilities On a day to basis you'll be involved in the following: Originating and checking PRD sizing calculations for Pressure Relief Valves, Bursting/Rupture Discs and Conservation & Breather Vents as per International Standards in API. Specification for purchasing PRDs. Generating Pressure Relief Philosophy documents. Problem solving potentially complex process systems for pressure relief solution options. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced Process Engineers working on PRD calculations. Qualifications We'd like to hear from candidates with: A degree in Chemical or Process Engineering. Good interpersonal and communication skills essential. Experience in Pressure Relief Device (PRD) sizing calculations in Pharma / Bio-Pharma / O&G sectors on Client side / EPC side. Minimum 15 years’ experience, with over 20 years preferred, in Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical process design, preferably with an EPC firm working on PFDs, P&IDs, Equipment sizing and PRD calculations. Self-motivated and self-driven. Strong awareness of process safety engineering. Design experience with clients from Europe and the USA is an advantage. ``` #J-18808-Ljbffr
