Job Summary: Experienced Engineering professional sought to provide daily support to Operations team and wider business group, leveraging expertise in Warehouse Management Systems and process optimization.

As a key member of the Engineering team, you will play a mentoring role, delivering daily support to the Operations team and wider business group.

You will work with multiple Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), running 7 FMCG sites, and collaborate with the vendor helpdesk function to deliver best-in-class service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop expertise in fundamental processes within the integrated warehouse management system and automated picking systems.
  • Support the operations daily sustaining activities, ensuring the WMS performs to and exceeds established targets.
  • Work as part of a dynamic and multi-discipline team to deliver a robust testing solution.
  • Understand, analyze, and eliminate reoccurring faults or bugs on the WMS.
  • Liaise with facilities team on reoccurring mechanical or electrical issues on the automated crane and conveyor system.
  • System auditing and maintenance.
  • Identify potential improvements to the WMS and associated processes.
  • Business and operational analysis (Capacity, efficiency, performance, etc).

Requirements:

  • Minimum Honors Degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • 4-5 years prior Process engineering experience preferably in a mentoring role.
  • Experience in the Pharma/FMCG sectors an advantage.
  • Lean Six Sigma qualification an advantage.

  • Candidate must be team-oriented with the ability to work in cross-functional teams to accomplish goals set by the business.
