Job description What you need to know Our client, in the manufacturing industry are looking for a Senior Process Technician to join their team based in Co. Offaly. The Senior Process Technician will be responsible for machine set-up, ongoing maintenance, and operation of our production line, and will report to the Plant Production Manager. This is a permanent position, working day and night shifts. Your new job Key Duties & Responsibilities: Oversee daily setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the injection moulding production line. Conduct mould and machine cleaning, as well as maintenance of robots and ancillary equipment. Optimise processes and implement continuous improvement programs. Produce finished goods that meet SOP and customer requirements, following quality specifications and order instructions. Perform quality checks, collect data, and complete documentation required for quality and regulatory compliance. Handle raw materials and finished goods. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Execute other production-related tasks as assigned. What are we looking for? Technical qualification in Manufacturing or Mechanical/Automation Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience with a strong understanding of machine settings, controls, and electrical and mechanical systems. Moulding experience. Familiarity with machine operations and a collaborative team production approach. Organised & experienced with line clearance and Health & Safety Protocols Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
