Senior Manager, Procurement Team

Lead a team of category managers in the EMEA data centre construction space, developing and implementing category strategies to drive procurement efficiency and cost savings.

  • Manage a team of procurement professionals to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive procurement efficiency and cost savings.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
  • Innovate procurement policies, processes, and systems to drive business growth.
  • Project manage change initiatives to deliver impactful business changes.
  • Prepare business review documents for senior leadership.
  • Engage and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Deliver cost savings through various cost reduction mechanisms.
  • Establish supplier framework agreements to reduce procurement costs.
  • Analyze category data and metrics to drive procurement category strategies.

As a Senior Manager, Procurement Team, you will be responsible for leading a team of category managers in the EMEA data centre construction space. You will develop and implement category strategies to drive procurement efficiency and cost savings, build strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders, and innovate procurement policies, processes, and systems to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years' experience in a procurement organization managing a team.
  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to drive team productivity and performance.
  • Strong business judgement, instincts, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in data centres, engineering, or construction procurement.
  • Experience with creating procurement systems and tools.
  • Proven ability to implement procurement strategies globally.
  • Masters degree in Engineering, Procurement & Supply chain or relevant business discipline.
