Senior Product Development Scientist joins a team of Scientists based in Galway to manage early formulation/concept work in the laboratory. 10+ years of experience in formulating coatings in industry required. Must have practical industry experience, particularly in Paint or Automotive industries. Responsibilities include developing new coatings, implementing new processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Directs others' technical activities, provides mentorship, and develops staff. Must be hands-on with laboratory work, a strong communicator, and adaptable. Requirements include an Honours Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 10+ years industry experience, design of experiments, and applied research in coating development.
