Senior Production Manager Were looking for a Senior Production Manager to join a leading medical device manufacturer with a state-of-the-art facility known for its advanced electronics and automation capabilities. Ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing high-volume production in regulated environments and is a natural leader who can inspire and guide a team while overseeing full production lifecycles. Excellent communication skills and a track record of driving operational excellence are essential. Objectives: Ensure products are manufactured cost-effectively, with high quality and customer satisfaction, adhering to schedules. Drive improvements in quality, output, and cost across all processes in the Fermoy Plant. Responsibilities: Lead and manage production staff, including Production Leads and Team Leaders, following world-class medical manufacturing practices. Oversee production planning, product layout, and staffing to meet performance standards in a high-volume, 24/7 operation. Set performance standards and monitor them, ensuring adherence to schedules and cost-effectiveness. Provide leadership, interpret company policies, and drive employee morale while managing absenteeism and attrition. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and maintain high standards in training and quality. Conduct regular employee appraisals and manage performance, driving continuous improvement in manufacturing practices. Requirements: 7+ years experience in the management of large number of personnel in a multi-shift structure, preferably in a world class medical manufacturing environment Third Level Qualification is desired ( Business / Technical ) 5+ years in identifying & delivering Process Improvements utilising LSS methodologies. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills Excellent Leadership skills 5 + years experience in MRP / Production Planning ( IPICS ) 5+ years experience in MES / Data Analysis.
