CREGG is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Production Planner to join a medical manufacturing company based in Shannon. This role will ensure our procurement, logistics and production planning operations function to the highest standards. In this role, youll collaborate with other departments, such as Manufacturing Engineering, Design and Finance, to create effective material supply and product build plans. This role willreport to the General Manager and will require the candidate to be based in the office fulltime. Responsibilities: Oversee the Manufacturing Operations, working closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management and other Gentian teams to develop, prioritize and maintain the Master Production Schedule and implement efficient production build scheduling Ensure that the correct material, labour and other resources are in place to meet production schedules and committed delivery dates Manage the forecasting and demand planning of material for multiple projects Maintain the MRP systems, including works order creation and management, production of pick and pack lists, production & quality documentation, etc Provide assistance and guidance to Purchasing, Materials Handling, Stores and Logistics team members, and work to optimise the companys procurement operations Liaise with suppliers and logistics service providers to resolve any supply or product issues as the arise Ensure inventory and records are maintained correctly Coordinating and managing Engineering Changes and New Product Introduction Foster a continuous improvement mindset to strive for lean and efficiency Assist in the implementation and development of ERP systems. Ensure Environmental Health & Safety standards are met and all EHS regulations and procedures are adhered to. Communicate production and material status to the wider team in a timely manner and reporting on Key Performance Indicators Essential and Desirable Skills: 6+ years previous experience in a Production Planner or similar field Previous purchasing and logistics management experience preferred Working experience of relevant ERP Strong communication skills and attention to detail Excellent organizational and planning skills Background in life sciences or medical devices an advantage Experience in electronicand electromechanical based products an advantage Strong Customer facing skills To be versatile in your day-to-day activities by providing cross-departmental support when necessary Please be aware that your CV will not be shared with anyone outside of CREGG without your express permission.
