The team specialises in: Specialist support to ESB Networks on Transmission Lines Overhead Line Clearances Calculations to ESB and third party developments and infrastructure Overhead Line Design Project management and design of capital transmission overhead line alteration and maintenance projects We are looking for a Senior Professional Engineer to join us on our journey to a Brighter Future. Key Responsibilities Project management of Overhead Lines transmission capital projects. Specialist input to OHL design queries Project Supervisor Design Stage (PSDP) with responsibility for the preparation & review of design risk assessments and project H&S plans. Production and verification of OHL designs. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team and key project stakeholders. Stakeholder management including developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships within and outside of ESB Experience and Qualifications Working as part of this dynamic team, you will always have new challenges and new problems to solve - working together is key. You will have the autonomy to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems with the support of your colleagues. Essential Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures, Design Standards including Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and Legislation and Electrical Safety Rules Excellent interpersonal skills and report writing skills Excellent Project Management and Stakeholder Management Skills Full Driving Licence and access to a car Desirable Use, Application and Development of Geographical Information System's Project Management and Stakeholder Experience Experience in T & D, Generation or equivalent power utility consultancy. Qualifications Essential 3rd level qualification or equivalent work experience Location Your base will be at one of our offices situated at One Dublin Airport Central, Portlaoise or Eastgate Cork.
