MCS Group is delighted to be working alongside a leading transport organisation as they look to recruit for a Senior Project Accountant to join their team in Dublin 8. Role would initially be a Fixed Term Contract with a view to permanency after probation. Why this role? They provide a range of services to their customer base and operate across all of Ireland. Now is a great time to join the company as the look to add a Head of Finance to their finance function. Role: Reporting into the Finance Manager, duties of this role include: Periodic financial reporting - including variance analysis Analysis and preparation of accruals Project contract financial management Budgeting, forecasting, and 5 year plan preparation Improving internal controls and processes Person: My client is ideally looking for someone who is/has: Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or equivalent Experience in project accounting and infrastructure project accounting essential Excellent IT skills Ability to work with a team from non-financial backgrounds Understanding of project expenditure, accruals, retentions, cash flow Strong understanding of Irish Tax Law Package: Salary up to €86k (DoE) 36 hour working week Hybrid Working 25 days holiday (Increases with service) Wellbeing Programmes Pension Scheme (Applicable once role is permanent) To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Louis Gault-Reid, Specialist Consultant at MCS Group on .
