My client, a reputable public sector organisation, is looking to recruit a Senior Project Accountant on a permanent basis in Dublin. The role reports to the Finance Manager and sits with a highly professional Finance team. The Role: Prepare and deliver regular financial reports, including explanations of any periodic variances. Analyze and prepare regular accruals. Generate periodic variance analysis reports. Maintain effective internal controls within the business unit. Identify and document opportunities to improve control processes and procedures. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and short and long term strategic plans. Provide financial information according to the agreed reporting schedule. Deliver regular reports on third-party performance. Support auditing activities, processes, and procedures. Requirements: Qualified Accountant - ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA 3 years plus experience Knowledgeable on Project expenditure, accruals, retentions and cash flow Understanding of Irish Tax Law Experience in Project Accounting an advantage ERP systems experience essential (especially SAP) The ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner Interested candidates should submit an updated CV.
