The successful candidate will work on projects across their entire life cycle – from project initiation, through construction and commissioning and right up to project close working closely with internal and external stakeholders.The TeamThe Connection Projects team is responsible for the delivery of electricity generation, demand and interconnection customer connections to the transmission system. This includes the delivery of transmission works for power generation and demand customer connections at distribution voltage levels.Your role in the team will be to take responsibility for the delivery of a range of medium to large infrastructure projects to approved schedule, budget, and quality requirements. The role will involve a combination of office-based working and site visits to both existing and new substations and transmission circuit sites.About youSuccessful candidates will have:An engineering degree or technical equivalent with a minimum of 4 years’ experience managing large infrastructure projects, balancing a proficiency in project management with a developed understanding of power systems.Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.Experience conceiving and introducing innovative ideas, solutions, or new ways of doing things.Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proficiency in English required.Commercial awareness with the ability to make decisions and recommendations in all aspects of project implementation.If you believe you have the skills and experience relevant for this position, please upload your CV and a cover letter (in one document).
