Our client is looking to hire a Senior Project Engineer on an initial 12-month contract.Responsibilities:You will always have new opportunities, pursuing ideas that are exciting and innovative. Think critically about manufacturing and supply problems and opportunities to identify continuous improvement opportunities.As a member of our team, you will actively participate in areas of product development and released product management including:Sustaining operations projectProcess design & developmentProduct lifecycle managementDay-to-day run the business activitiesPost-market quality and regulatory requirementsTake initiative & lead a team to solve problems or execute on processes and systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and deliver on project requirements.Execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identify and carry out practical actions to solve technical problems using your new and existing skills in:Project managementLean sigmaProcess developmentLead and support the process development, characterization, and validation activities for changes to commercial products. Collaborate, document, and present all learnings to project and functional teams.Ensure effective stakeholder management and establish governance processes for communication and escalation.Key Skills & Experience:Third Level 8 Degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or related disciplineGood understanding of product and process designAbility to collaborate effectively within a talented team and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teamsDemonstrated problem-solving ability and experience with lean/six sigma toolsProficient oral and written communication skills and ability to develop warm cross-functional relationshipsGood organizational, presentation, and project management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
