Senior Project Engineer - Main Contractor - Dublin

Job Description:

Our client is a leading Irish Contractor with projects throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe. They have successfully completed projects across a range of sectors including:

1. Data Centres
2. Hospitality
3. Commercial
4. Industrial
5. Healthcare
6. Pharmaceutical

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all technical information is available when required for the delivery of design and/or construction.
2. Liaise with the design team as necessary.
3. Maintain detailed knowledge of setting out procedures and engineering principles.
4. Co-ordinate, direct, and manage sub-contractors and suppliers as required by the project programme.
5. Apply engineering principles in the preparation of calculations, drawings, sketches, and resolving engineering challenges within specific knowledge areas.
6. Be competent in the use of instruments for purposes of setting out and gathering information.
7. Consolidate a reputation for innovative engineering, technical expertise, and professionalism.
8. Implement engineering systems, documentation, and controls by compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company, and industry standards.
9. Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of various engineering disciplines including planning, QS, QA/QC, materials, plant and equipment, sub-structure, superstructure, and temporary works.
10. Promote forward thinking and strive for engineering excellence.
11. Motivate, train, and retain the best engineering staff.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Engineering/Construction related discipline.
2. 5+ years of civils engineering experience in a Senior Engineer role on large-scale RC / Structural projects with main contractors.

Package:

Salary €65k - €80k and negotiable dependent on experience.
