Job Description
The Utility Project Engineer reports to the Senior Manager for Strategic Engineering Projects and is responsible for scoping and executing technical projects in utility areas supporting all areas of the facility.
- Manage technical projects in utility areas, including clean utilities, other utilities, and controlled temperature units.
- Commission and qualify new equipment and upgrades.
- Work with various stakeholders to scope projects and ensure requirements are satisfied.
- Coordinate the introduction of new processes, equipment, and materials.
- Support the development and implementation of maintenance programs and spare parts inventory optimization.
- Develop and manage change controls.
- Participate as a member of multidisciplinary site and multisite teams.
- Develop detailed specifications, engineering documents, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant experience, 3+ years of engineering experience, and proven project management experience.
- Strong mechanical capability and hands-on experience in a technical role.
- Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
