**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Galway. The successful candidate will have a strong background in product and process design, excellent collaboration skills, and experience with lean/six sigma tools.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and deliver on project requirements.
- Execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identify and carry out practical actions to solve technical problems using project management, lean sigma, and process development skills.
- Lead and support process development, characterisation, and validation activities for changes to commercial products.
- Collaborate, document, and present learnings to project and functional teams.
- Ensure effective stakeholder management and establish governance processes for communication and escalation.
**Requirements:**
- Third Level 8 Degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
- Good understanding of product and process design.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a talented team and work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and experience with lean/six sigma tools.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills and ability to develop warm cross-functional relationships.
- Good organizational, presentation, and project management skills.
