Our client is looking to hire a Senior Project Engineer on an initial 12-month contract.Responsibilities:You will always have new opportunities, pursuing ideas that are exciting and innovative. Think critically about manufacturing and supply problems and opportunities to identify continuous improvement opportunities.As a member of our team, you will actively participate in areas of product development and released product management including sustaining operations projects, process design & development, product lifecycle management, day-to-day run the business activities, and post-market quality and regulatory requirements.Take initiative & lead a team to solve problems or execute on processes and systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and deliver on project requirements.Execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.Identify and carry out practical actions to solve technical problems using your new and existing skills in project management, lean sigma, and process development.Lead and support the process development, characterisation, and validation activities for changes to commercial products.Collaborate, document, and present all learnings to project and functional teams.Ensure effective stakeholder management and establish governance processes for communication and escalation.Key Skills & Experience:Third Level 8 Degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.Good understanding of product and process design.Ability to collaborate effectively within a talented team and work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.Demonstrated problem-solving ability and experience with lean/six sigma tools.Proficient oral and written communication skills and ability to develop warm cross-functional relationships.Good organizational, presentation, and project management skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
