Job Description
Senior Project Engineer sought to lead medium to large infrastructure projects, balancing project management with power systems expertise.
We are the people behind Ireland's electricity grid, operating the power system with world-leading levels of variable asynchronous renewable generation.
The Connection Projects team is responsible for delivering electricity generation, demand, and interconnection customer connections to the transmission system.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing projects across their entire life cycle, from initiation to close
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Delivering transmission works for power generation and demand customer connections at distribution voltage levels
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or technical equivalent with a minimum of 4 years' experience managing large infrastructure projects
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Experience conceiving and introducing innovative ideas, solutions, or new ways of doing things
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proficiency in English required
- Commercial awareness with the ability to make decisions and recommendations in all aspects of project implementation
