Project Engineer required to oversee projects, ensure timely delivery, and manage budgets.
Ger TEK Project Management & Technical Services is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Sligo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee projects to meet objectives, stay within scope, and deliver on time and within budget.
- Partner with Operations to ensure daily production meets requirements and addresses major contributors to downtime.
- Provide technical service to moulding and tooling engineering departments.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs to implement improvements in quality, safety, environmental, and production systems.
- Compile, execute, and report validation documentation.
- Assist with new equipment introduction, including design, procurement, vendor interaction, and management.
- Compile and update departmental procedures to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Update Maintenance and Calibration systems and ensure compliance.
- Assist with upskilling existing workforce as part of their personal development plan.
- Fabricate ad hoc mechanical and electrical parts for efficient repairs, upgrades, and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Level 8 degree in an Engineering discipline.
- 3+ years related experience.
- Knowledge of cleanroom manufacturing requirements and associated health & safety requirements.
- Highly innovative, motivated, and organised with excellent planning and communication skills.
