Senior Project Manager role in Cork & Monaghan Regions, responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Carron + Walsh, a leading project management practice, seeks a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with contracts and governance arrangements.
- Manage project budgets, programmes, and briefs, monitoring expenditures and costs.
- Manage the appointment of contractors and consultants to projects.
- Deliver projects to agreed levels of quality, programme, and budget.
- Manage third-party contributions to projects.
- Manage communications with all stakeholders.
- Manage risks to project success.
- Coordinate contractual requirements throughout the project process.
- Review work methods and materials to maximize commercial profitability.
- General project administration and document control.
- Report on financial, programme, and construction milestones to directors.
- Assist in marketing the business.
- Attend industry events.
- Assist with preparation of fee proposals and bid submissions.
Requirements:
- Degree and/or qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction/Project Management.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager with an established practice/business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Solid technical appreciation regarding construction documentation/methodologies.
- Excellent professional presentation and communication skills.
- Chair and minute stakeholder management meetings with accuracy, detail, and confidence.
